About Us

Keswick View is a detached Victorian property in the heart of Keswick.  Keswick View is privately owned and has been operated by the Newton family since 2007, with locally-based management and cleaners.  Our three comfortable apartments combine period features with modern fixtures and fittings.

We welcome guests from the UK and all over the world, including European neighbours, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

The photo shows Keswick View from Lake Road. Whinlatter and Castlerigg apartments are on the first and second floors.  Level access to the Garden apartment is from the rear car-park.  The shop is a separate business and does not share facilities with Keswick View.

History

Keswick View was built in 1864 as ‘Bellevue House’. It has welcomed visitors to the Lakes for over a century, first as a boarding house and later as self-catering apartments.  Read a short history of Keswick View to learn more.
